Knitting nutty

So as many of you know I am an avid knitter. I can't seem to stop sometimes! My hubby calls me the crazy knitter. So I thought I would share some of my most recent projects.

THe top picture is of my first attempt at knitting with beads. I found it really fun and just kind of made up the pettern as I went.

This is a shrug that I made using ribbon yarn! It was really fun to work with two.

My birthday!

Thanks to all who sent cards, called or e-mailed today! It has definitely helped out with not feeling like such a big deal. Turning 30 is definitely not what I thought it was gonna be. I remeber in high school filling out one of those lists of "what I'm gonna do by the time i turn 30" Guess what! I haven't done anything on my list yet. Except for teh marriage and kids part. SO my new list to try and complete by the time I turn 40 is



1. Lose as much weight as I can to be really healthy.



2. Finish my degree!



3. Finally decide what I want to be when I grow up!!

Just Starting

so after someone kindly pushing me to start updating my web page or do something I have decided that blogging will work. So from now on you will see weekly updates of our goings on and travels. This has been a very interesting week. Monday I was informed that the company I work for canceled all contracts for the drivers nationwide. No explanation. So now I am without job and trying to find one as soon as we get back from california. So if you know of any companies looking for couriers I would be glad to know! Just keep an eye out and you will see new and fun stuff to the blog and some good pics of the kids!!
