My new penguin friend

Meet my new penguin friend! We went to the aquarium to day for fathers day and they have penguins now. We stood watching them for quite a while and I was trying to get a good picture of them. This one kept coming up to the glass and staring at me so I finally got a good pic and a new freind!

Stopping and Starting!

I have officially worked my last day at my current job! I feel a huge sense of relief and sadness! I will miss the kiddos in my class and some of my co-workers. I will not, however, miss the drama and stupidity. I am on to a new place begining Monday and am very excited and nervous. I know this will be a good place but I am nervous for the first time stuff! We shall see how it goes!

I finally finished my first project from the wonderful gift my parents gave me for my birthday. It is a hat /cowl for my best friend Michelle for her birthday. The pictures do not do the color justice though, it is a beautiful teal color. Thanks mom and dad!!

Birthday Stuff

THank you THank you for all the birthday wishes! It is so nice to feel so loved. I wanted to share what I got. My parents sent me a gift card to my favorite yarn store and this is what I got with it. The blue is for a sweater than I am going to make for myself. The Yoga socks will be my first attempt at socks and the hat is to make matching ones for my friend and I. My sweet husband also got me some music. I finally got the Michael Buble' CD that i have been trying to get since CHristmas and Jason Mraz and Corinne Baily Raye

Stitch Markers

I ordered too many beads online the other day and was having trouble figuring out what to do with them. I decided to make some stitch markers. They turned out really cute so I made a bracelet for myself as well!
