WHat do I have to say other than yeah!!!!!!

12 Days and counting!

So as you read in one of my last posts, I got a plane ticket to Denver to see my best friend Michelle. I leave in 12 days and neither one of us can hardly stand it. I haven't seen her in 2 1/2 years. I am not as proud of my appearance I would like to be but all is changing slowly. I just can't wait to see her and hang otu with her!!!!!

More Christmas details

Ok so I have to share more. I made Rob a cowboys colored pillow and a football blanket for his present and of course got him legos. He was so sweet and replaced my foot bath that died this last year since he won't rub feet. He also got me a plane ticket to Denver (yeah gertie can't wait). My best friend Michelle lives there and I haven't seen her since Rachel was about 6 months old. My folks were here with my sister-in-law and we had a great time. Rachel couldn't be without her Auntie Rachel for very long at all. Rachel(auntie) slept in Rachels room and she would not go to bed each night without her. She still asks where auntie Rachel went. John Michael got to sleep on the floor in our room and decided that that is where he wanted to stay. We got to take everyone to dinner on Christmas Eve mexican of course and went to our favorite Tres Hombres. I cooked on Christmas day and wouldn't let any one help me and I think it turned out pretty good we even used the China that I have and have never used. I made Ham and bacon green beans and loaded mashed potatoes, with crescent rolls. We had Marie Callendars pies for desert and just had a fabulous day. My mom even made her ableskeivers. YUmm-o

The Dogs

So we can't talk about christmas and not talk about the dogs. My parents and sister-in-law were here and brought their dogs. My parents are taking care of my Auntie Glendas dog cuco and my brother and sister-in-law have a dog named Hank. They came to visit witht hem and our dog Buck was in heaven with new play buddies. He tried to play with cuco but he is a cranky old man that wouldn't have it. He more sat on the sidelines and barked while buck and hank played. We got buck for Christmas a new dog bed and rope toy. Hank decided he wanted to play with it and at one point they both had the ends of the toy playing with each other. e also spoiled the dogs with bones and treats and as you can see Buck enjoyed them very much!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

So we have to start with christmas eve, yes I know I am a week late but whatever! The kids get pj's every year for Christmas so they opened them and ROb knew they were getting blankets from his mom so we let them open them too! Little did we know that Rachels blanket would match her pjs. JM got transformers pjs with a cars blanket and surprisingly enough that balnket has replaced the tutu blanket on his bed. THey both loved them. Thank you nana!!!


On Christmas day they were both so excited. They went in to get ROb out of the bed and it was, as usual, very difficult. When they finally got him to the stairs they were so excited. They came racing down to see their bounty. Rachel received an art easel from Santa and JM a scooter. Rachel was very funny as she opened her gifts. SHe would have to stop and draw and then open some more!

John Michael got a very cool gift from his daddy. He got a ship in a bottle for both of them to work on together! It should be very exciting to watch their progress.

THey got so many fun things and we can't thank you all enough for all of it! We love you all and hope your Christmas was as great as ours was!!
